He is currently the Design Director at Slope, a brand and creative agency partnering closely with high-growth startups and venture firms. There, he leads teams in the development of brand identities, visual systems, and web across industries that include technology, finance, lifestyle, and emerging platforms.
His background spans design leadership roles at Character and Venables Bell & Partners, along with more than five years as a founding designer and partner at Un-.
Andrew has also collaborated on a contract basis with Hook, A Line, Siegel + Gale, Moving Brands, SYPartners, and Turner Duckworth. Earlier in his career, he taught brand design at the Academy of Art University, where his moniker Exptype emerged as an internal framework for his approach to visual systems, typography, and experimentation.
